Smoked Salmon Spread
This recipe is from Bobbi Gataric, thanks for sharing! Great with pita chips, crackers, bread or slices of cucumber or endive leaves.
Smoked Salmon Spread:
(serves a crowd)
2 8 oz packages of cream cheese, softened to room temperature
3 tbs fresh lemon juice
3 tbs milk
1 tbs dried dill (can use fresh, chop finely and use closer to 3 tbs)
1 6.5 oz can of smoked Alaskan salmon (Trader Joe's), or use 2 3 oz Chicken of the Sea pouches
1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions
Directions:
In bowl, beat cream cheese with lemon juice, milk and dill weed. Fold in Pacific Salmon and green onions. Chill a minimum of 1 hour or several hours to allow flavors to blend. Makes about 3 -1/2 cups.
